Title KGM Holds 2024 Global Distributor Conference

- KGM plans to actively communicate and cooperate with its global distributors for the successful launch of new products and improvements in sales

 

 

[September 13, 2024] KGM invited representatives from its global distributor network to Korea for the 2024 Global Distributor Conference in an effort to strengthen cooperation within its export sales network and enhance its international competitiveness.

 

The four-day event, which commenced on the 9th of September, was the first large-scale global invitation since 2018. 91 representatives from 42 different countries participated in the event, which included a conference, award ceremony, introduction and test drive of the new Actyon, and a tour of the KGM Design Center.

 

KGM Chairman Jea-sun Kwak, CEOS Jang-ho Park and Ki-young Hwang, and CSO Jeong-hyun Kwak attended the conference held at the Grand Hyatt Seoul on the 10th to share KGM's new brand strategy and mid to long-term product development plans. They also reviewed the 2023 and 2024 business performance and plans and discussed various ways to strengthen cooperation to expand export sales and enhance competitiveness.

 

In his welcoming remarks, Chairman Jea-sun Kwak mentioned, "The Global Distributor Conference is the first large-scale event since KGM's new start as a member of the KG family. The purpose of this event is to strengthen the partnerships with global distributors and enhance communication and cooperation for the successful global launch of the Actyon. Actyon, KGM's latest model that embodies the company's brand strategy 'Practical Creativity', will serve as a new milestone in KGM's history."

 

He also added, "By establishing the Europe sales corporation this August and working on global market strategies, KGM has been strengthening its efforts towards the global market. We will continue to actively communicate and cooperate with our distributors to increase sales and explore new markets."

 

During the test drive, the representatives and officials from each country expressed great satisfaction with the Actyon's design, driving performance, ride comfort, and space utilization. They also shared regional launch plans and marketing strategies, strengthening their resolve for the product's successful introduction to the global market.

 

During the award ceremony, distributors from the following countries were awarded for their achievements in the export market: Turkiye (Distributor of the Year), Hungary (Highest Market Share), Egypt (Fastest Growth), New Zealand/Spain/Paraguay/Poland/the United Kingdom (Excellence in Sales).
