SsangYong Motor (CEO and President Choi, Hyung-Tak;www.kg-mobility.com) will provide two units of the “Chairman W” as a gift to golfers making a hole-in-one at the Second “2008 Korea-China Tour KEB Invitational” Golf Tournament, which is scheduled to be held at the OSTAR Country Club (in HoengSeong District, Gangwon Province) from September 18 to 21. In addition, the company will provide vehicles for the VIPs and exhibit the “Chairman W” during the tournament period.
The Second “2008 Korea-China Tour KEB Invitational” Golf Tournament is an official professional golf tournament that is being held in both Korea and China. Many top golfers are participating in the event, including around 75 Korea Professional Golfers’ Association members and 60 China Golf Association members.
SsangYong Motor plans to provide two units of the “Chairman W” to a VIP (official with the General Administration of Sport of China) and an invited golfer, and the “Chairman W” to each hole-in-one golfer at the Pro-Am tournament and main tournament. The company will also exhibit the “Chairman W” at the gallery plaza (2 units) and at the 17th hole, where golfers who make a hole-in-one will receive the award, in order to feature the vehicle to tournament participants and the gallery.
